Too simple!

It has potential, but it's currently simply too simple. You should also give credit to the musician. That music was used in so many Flash games that I think it's kind of boring. It's a bad loop, anyway. Too short.

You should try adding variations to the click challenges. A few ideas come to mind. You could make the button move. You could also add sound effects and have an invisible button hidden somewhere on the screen. You could say "Find the button and click it as many times as you can!"

As I was doing my late night routine, I was thinking about adding other challenges and etc. I really like that you stated.

Thanks!

Fun.

It's pure fun, and I like that I have to press space to begin. I don't see keyboard-controlled games often enough. Anyway, I don't like the art, as it's all black shadows on a white background. It's hard to see the bumps on the path, too, so I was surprised when I first noticed them slowing the runner down.

Lazy. Nothing of merit.

The art is terrible, and the interactivity comes down to dragging objects around. There's no depth control, and I can't get the accessories to look right on the pig. Also, why a pig?

PinkRose11 responds:

Im not quite sure what "depth control" is, please tell via PM. And to awnser your question about the pig, I was looking around my room for an idea for a very simple flash that I could make/post withen a day, and I saw the piggy bank next to my laptop. So there xD As for the art, what dont you like about it? Please share. Thanks!

Nice start.

It needs easier control widgets and better visuals. It could also help to have different types of particles to emit. You could even add gradients to the background.

I like the "Save As Avatar" idea. It gives more reason to mess with the options in detail. I would find something like this very fun if it was a more complete experience. I think it would be fun if used on a website it's designed for. Maybe you could make a Particle War game?

Boring.

It's nice for the fact that it is definitely interactive, but it isn't interactive in a fun way. You just made an endless animated scene that triggers its animations on either the mouse hover or mouse click.

Wow, reward earned.

Voices are awesome, cutscenes are awesome, in-game animations are awesome, everything is top notch, grade A for awesome. I like the controls, too, but there is one flaw with them. When using the scroll wheel to change weapons, it scrolls the browser window. Also, the filesize, while warranted for such an awesome game, might scare a lot of people away. Oh, and the ads, there might have been a little too many of those.

Dragy2005 responds:

Hey, thanks man!
True, mouse scroll is a problematic control in flash player. In the next game this will not be out there as default. For now you can fix this experience by playing on window (popup).

Filesize is this way when you get so many scenes in. We're trying to figure out ways to make the next game at least 10mb smaller so it won't scare players away.

Ads on the 'daily tip' are randomised, 1 in 20 would be an ad and the rest are gameplay tips. You might have got a bit of bad luck and you got an ad after every stage. I'll try to fix it by making a count.

Not bad, could look better.

I think the visual representation could use work. Obviously, it would be much better if you used AS3, because you would have more features available. That said, bravo! I like it. It's a fun way to explore NG Audio.

MCarsten responds:

Thanks for go in the Audio Portal journey! Yeah, I used AS2 for code this. Thanks for review! :)

Collision is iffy.

It's a decent game, don't get me wrong, but I died for no reason. I was doing fine, and suddenly, a enemy I just killed was killing me on a Game Over screen. Very bizarre. I don't even know why it was Game Over.

My car wouldn't go up hills!

I notice some potential, but you didn't really make the controls easy. I also did not like how a transformer couldn't get up hills.

Too tiny.

I couldn't read the words! Work on your text sizes. Also, the options were too limited, not offering enough creative thought. You should also consider adding sound effects, but don't make the game annoying!

I love video games. I can play them day and night, when time allows. I also grew up watching anime, and I have fond memories of DBZ and a few other shows from the Toonami years. My, how time flies... I plan on getting back into animation.
